Hi, I am Anubhab Patnaik, a software engineer based in San Francisco, interested in math, engineering, and entrepreneurship. I work with social-media apps, distributed systems, and high-performance caching databases. GitHub

I run Luna, a tech/venture studio that builds and invests in early-stage startups. We partner with founders to solve fun problems and build consumer apps that people love. Some of Luna’s recent projects include:

• VoiceBit, a voice-based AI food ordering system.
• Lunr, a highly optimised AI matchmaking system.
• Chalk, a performance-indexed, high-signal social network for athletes.
• Mostest, an AI-powered event planner.

Previously, I worked as the founding engineer at Authentic, an ephemeral social media app, and as a research engineer building a cinematic video generation engine at h011yw00d before that. This site is for my monthly logs – my two cents on life and tech. More on my journey so far
